Bijou Innovations, Inc was created by Dr Erica Crillo-McCarthy and is a woman owned management consulting company. Her husband Robert McCarthy is also a co-founder and currently serves as Managing Partner. We found that our individual fields complemented each other’s in surprising, and what turned out to be inseparable, ways. This made us eager to cultivate our own practice, one that would effectively intersect their expertise with our respective interests. We believe that what makes a creative business thrive is the passion that drives it. Dr Erica Cirillo-McCarthy
Teachs in the Program in Writing and Rhetoric at Stanford University and serves as the Assistant Director of Hume Center for Writing & Speaking. She has over a decade of teaching writing through empathy and provides contextual frameworks to present writing as a process. She provides boot camps on on how to provide provide persuasive presentations to various stakeholders through a structured methodology. Typical topics that range from range from story telling through audience journey mapping, building storyboards, visual representation, effective presentation techniques, how to captivate and win over your audience.

Robert McCarthy
Robert is a business innovator who practices Lean Six Sigma, Design Thinking, Design Sprints, Change and Open-book management. He has more than 20 years of in-depth and diverse experience in leadership, consulting, finance and training roles within investment banking, telecom, physical and cyber security, telecom, utilities, and several other subscription-based service businesses. He has an innate ability to draw upon a variety of problem-solving tools and problem-finding networks, nurture design thinking skills and mindset to enable rapid introduction of innovative products, services, and processes through creating by empathy, building through rapid prototyping, and managing the interplay of formal and informal cultural structures on innovation. Continuously advocates for the voice of key stakeholder requirements during periods of disruptive change such as mergers and acquisitions, rapid growth, business service delivery transformations, transitioning to a customer centric model, downsizing, outsourcing, offshoring, and centralization of funding models. He represented and advised entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs on best practices for business strategy, rapid growth, and operational effectiveness. He is currently improving his professional skill-set through his enrollment in an Innovation and Entrepreneurship program at Stanford University.
